Freedom of Information

Ask any department or public body for the information it holds. Every request and every answer is published here.

The organisation must answer within 7 days (in real life it is 20 working days). It can release the information, release part of it, or refuse, quoting an exemption from the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If you are unhappy with the answer you can ask for an internal review, and then complain to the Information Commissioner.
